This week I learned how to play chess and karaoked in a bar for my first time. Feels like a triumphant way to end the year!
I just made a list of my goals and it’s weird how so many of the goals wouldn’t be on the list if I hadn’t studied abroad. I haven’t written out a list of long-term goals in awhile because I’m always focusing on what I should get done in the current quarter or school year, but it feels so good to have them written down. Saw The Artist with my mom and sister today. It was such a charming film and now I’m in the mood for 1920s-30s inspired things :)

Jen and I had breakfast at Kimmie’s Coffee Cup today and then saw the absolutely adorable film Hugo. Such a lovely pre-birthday celebration :)
I love that I can get a tour of my friend Tom’s house in Tasmania via Skype and feel like I’m having tea with him in his kitchen. Can’t wait to Skype more of my friends who live in other countries!
